Flying Off of Shelves
On March 3, 2017, Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch in the United States at the price of $299.99. This new console rapidly sold out once it was made available to the market, which disappointed many people in the gaming community that had been waiting in massive lines for this limited product.
What to Look Forward to
If you do manage to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch, then you should expect to see many new features in this console. To begin with, the Nintendo Switch is both a TV console and a portable console. Much of the appeal of this device comes from the fact that you can take it with you anywhere and anytime you want. To add, you can even play with multiple people whether you are out and about or in the comfort of your own home. You can do this through online multiplayer, playing with traditional handheld remotes while in TV mode, playing with the attached Joy-Con remotes, or playing across multiple devices with friends.
Plans for the Future
When it comes to the Nintendo Switch, there are many new gaming titles coming out soon. The games following are what fans are raving about the most: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey, 1-2-Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Arms. First of all, the the new Splatoon game includes new hairstyles, gear, weapons, maps, and single player levels to play. In addition, Super Mario Odyssey is similar to Mario 64 in the sense that it is an open-world game. Plus, this game includes a world way different than anything that gaming fans have seen before in the Super Mario series. For the first time ever, Mario will be going through obstacles in the real world in a city modeled after New York. Furthermore, other honorable mentions of upcoming games are Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Snipperclips – Cut it out, together, Super Bomberman R, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
