From October 23 to October 31 Red Ribbon Week was held at CHS for the first time with actual red ribbon stickers that you can wear! The ribbon stickers were handed out on Monday morning as the students were coming in honor of preventing drug abuse. Some volunteers students even helped hand out the ribbons. Concluded from the various witnesses there was an assumingly sweet surprise with wearing a red ribbon sticker. Reports of students coming out of PATHWAYS with treats. People who were wearing red ribbon week stickers would receive a free treat in return for their trust of wearing the drug prevention sticker. This event lasted on Monday and continued on until Tuesday. The main message for this event is to prevent drug abuse which can be potentially fatal and life threatening. That is why this event made a big deal about it.
